Peyton's 1st Photos

I had a doctor's appointment last Thursday and we had an ultrasound done that day.  It was so wonderful seeing our baby for the first time!!  If I could have an ultrasound every day, I would.  We just loved seeing Peyton in action.  (Peyton is baby Freeman's name, boy or girl.)  And no, we still do not know the gender.....and will not until Peyton makes his/her debut into the world.  :)

According to the doctor, Peyton is healthy and looks great but is measuring a little bigger than he/she should for 19 weeks.  Peyton is currently 11 oz. in weight. This explains the huge belly.  Ha ha!  Maybe I am further along than I am and Peyton will be here sooner than July 22nd.  :)

19 Weeks

I am so behind on blogging and I apologize.  I have been so busy with getting the room for the nursery cleaned out so we can start painting.  :)  Here are my last 3 belly pics since my last blog.

As you can see, my belly is continuing to grow.  I can feel baby now, but only sporadically.  I can't wait until Jon can feel him/her moving.  It is such a wonderful feeling.  :)

A gift for baby Rylee

A friend of mine is having a baby girl next month and the baby shower is this coming Saturday.  I love to paint and I had to paint something for baby Rylee's room.  I spent most of the day yesterday working on these two paintings and I am so pleased with how they turned out.

16 Weeks

I am 16 weeks!

Size of the baby:  4 1/2 inches long & the size of an avocado

Weight:  3.5 oz

Weekly baby update:  This week, baby F's limbs are more developed and are becoming more controlled in movement.  Baby has started growing toenails and his/her little heart is pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day. 

 I have a doctor's appointment next Friday and I can't wait.  I get to hear sweet baby F's heartbeat again.  I wish Friday would hurry up and get here.

I Turned the Big 3-0!!!

I turned 30 this year!!!!  Oh my!  Where does the time go?  So I thought I was going to be a basket case, but turns out 30 is just another number.  I am loving my 30's so far!

My good friend, Jessica, always makes me the yummiest cake for my birthday celebration at work.  Doesn't it look delicious?!  Thanks, Jessica!

This past Saturday, Jon and I had dinner with some of our friends in celebration of me turning the big 3-0!  We ate at one of my favorite restaurants in Louisville, Gasthaus German Restaurant.  The food is phenomenal!  Here is a picture of our group.  Love them!

And of course, you can't have dinner without dessert......

The Chocolate Eclair is my absolute favorite!
